THE CHALLENGE
Students will be able to record and edit audio in software of choice. Students will create a script for a radio edit, add music, mix and master their track and submit via mp3.
STAGE 01: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
STEP 01: GET INTO GROUPS
Get into groups of no more than 4 and no less than 3. Mr. Remedios will approve or deny your request.
STEP 02: Worksheet
Now it’s time to get to know what a Radio spot ad is. Please download, edit and complete the worksheet located here. Once you have downloaded the worksheet fill it in and keep it safe to submit later.
STEP 03: SCRIPTING
Okay – lets create our scripts. Use the template provided to create your script for your radio spot ad. You can see the example script below in the resource section. Click the button below to grab the script template. I would upload to google drive, and share it with all your groups members for a collaborative efforts.

STAGE 02: RECORDING
RECORDING
Time to record. There are several ways to record. Once the recordings are completed, please give each group member a copy of your recording.
See below the various options for recording.
OPTION 1: ZOOM H1N RECORDING
Zoom Mic H1N – This is one of my favorite ways to record. You need to go into a secluded space and record your audio.
Using your phone is the most easiest. You can choose to do this only using a voice memo app.
OPTION 3: THE PROFESSIONAL WAY
The most complicated way but yields the best result through hard work and dedication
